I think it goes without saying that I love a good handbag, so what can you find in my personal closet?
Before we jump into it, I think it’s safe to say I have a favorite brand. I know I need to broaden my horizons but I haven’t gotten there yet. I swear that Bluntly B will sell way more than Gucci, so don’t worry! Since that spills the beans with where we are going, let’s get to it!
I’m just going to go in chronological order.

Gucci Horsebit Emily Handbag Small
The one that started it all
This patent leather beauty was my first designer handbag I ever received. I received it from my father when traveling in college—which activated what I call vacation dad. He just gets in a good ass mood and is ready to swipe the credit card, so you can’t blame a girl!
I just realized while writing this that she has been on my shoulder for over a decade! I love that you can wear her as a shoulder, arm and crossbody bag. Additionally, the color is TOO GOOD.
…Insert long gap in shopping…

Gucci Women's GG Supreme Canvas Padlock Handbag
The buzz buy
I stared at this bag in my shopping cart for probably an entire year, no exaggeration. Ask my boyfriend (now husband) because he saw me pull up that link damn near everyday and say, “Look how pretty it is!”
His response was always the same, “Just buy it.”
So one Sunday morning as we were drinking mimosas in the sun, I decided to pull the trigger to go from in-cart to in-hand! My spend-too-much-but-have to-share-it-with-a-friend shopping confidant, Jess, said we should apply that mentality more often. She quoted it was “W.W.B.D”
What Would Brooke Do… when it came to being a little buzzed while shopping… I think we should agree with her and implement this theory more often.
No ragerts.

Coach Coachtopia Wavy Dinky with Wavy Binding Handbag
The grooviest gift
Here we are back into the gift world and yet again my husband saw my online shopping problem. Once more I looked at this bag endlessly. I kept the logic of, “I don’t need it…” but thankfully I didn’t marry a loser (iykyk) and received it as a surprise birthday gift!
Every single time I wear this bag, I get asked where it’s from at least once! She is such a fun way to add color but also neutral enough to go with a lot more than you’d assume. And before you get attached—I’ve had her for a few years and don’t see them making it anymore. :(

Gucci Diana Bamboo Tote Small
The clean classic
I’m not going to lie, she is my pride and joy in this collection. I only wear her by the small bamboo handles because she is a show stopper and needs to be worn in hand. I love the deep emerald tone with gold hardware. I saved up for this bag for an entire year. Literally a small bit came out of every paycheck so I could finally add her to my collection.
The best part is I got to purchase her in-person!! My husband and I giggled at the offering of champagne for this purchase while at their Paris location. When we walked out, I was surprised by him with a beautiful pair of gold earrings to go with. 🥹
True story: When shopping, there was a dog that came into the store and was literally offered a water bowl on a silver platter. Not even kidding!
So, we just love Diana because she holds good memories all around!
Nannini Flora Handbag Small
The sunshine-in-a-bag
While this may be a smaller italian leather company, she is still one of the cutest bags I own. The perfect accessory for the warmer months and somehow holds way more than it looks like it should! The double zipper creates so much space.
This is also a vacation bag. I am now seeing that I have such a pattern… Damn, maybe I should have bought a bag on my honeymoon…?
When strolling back towards our BNB after an amazing Italy lemon tour (seriously, the best lemons ever!) we stumbled upon a leather shop. I saw this cutie and had to have her. This brand makes a lot of cute colors and shapes while keeping the budget down.

Gucci Re(Belle) Handbag Small
The wedding accessory
This is a bag I will have forever. While the design may be from years ago, I only recently discovered this bag and immediately wanted to add her to my collection. This was leading up to my wedding day, which was filled with jewel tone colors.
It became mine as a sweet wedding gift to match the wedding color palette! I always wear her as a clutch and she is currently littered with Kirbys, Kuromi, and Cinnamonroll (think Nintendo and Hello Kitty.) What can I say, a girl was influenced by the crane games in Tokyo, okay?!
Fun fact: I accidentally ruined the surprise with this gift as I stressed out my fiance-at-the-time by sending him another link of this bag for a “better price.” He told me what he bought so we wouldn’t have purchased two of the same bag… oops!

Fossil Canvas Tote
The movie theatre treat-sneaker
This bag has snuck countless bottles of wine and snacks into the movie theatres and needs to be highlighted for doing such a wonderful job over all the years. She fits a whole bottle of wine and two cups perfectly while still having room for water, whoppers and some albanese gummy bears. She is the real MVP.
And there you have it, a look inside my closet! Some resale (thank goodness for online authentication to make it even easier!), some vacation purchases and some smaller brands!
Adding to your collection is so personal and mood-dependent. That’s why I created Bluntly B. I want to expand your closet. You want to express yourself! 🤝🏻
